Priyanka Sarna started this brand in 2016 after years spent watching her grandmother mix home remedies for the family, and the name Myoho, drawn from the Lotus Sutra, is built around the idea of reviving skin and hair rather than just covering something up. Nearly a decade later, Pure By Priyanka still runs formulations that most of the market has quietly abandoned in favour of faster, synthetic shortcuts.

The clearest example is Shata Dhauta Ghrita, ghee washed in water a hundred times by hand until it turns into something closer to a balm than a cooking ingredient, a preparation most kitchens gave up on generations ago. The rest of the catalogue sits alongside it without much friction: a Kesar Haldi Chandan Gel, a Suvarna Ritual Scrub, a batana oil hair conditioner, and two sunscreens, one mineral, one built around niacinamide and D-Panthenol, so the range reads as much like a modern dermatology shelf as an Ayurvedic one. There's also a full baby line, Ecocert certified, held to the same restraint on synthetic fragrance and sulphates as the adult range.

Worth knowing: the brand leans hard on the Ayurvedic and ritual framing in its own copy, Shata Dhauta Ghrita included, and while the preparation itself is real and traditional, several of the specific benefits claimed for it sit closer to Ayurvedic belief than clinically verified fact, so the wellness language is worth reading as positioning rather than medical claim.

Best for: buyers who want one genuinely classical Ayurvedic preparation in their routine instead of a turmeric-branded moisturiser, and anyone shopping for a baby-safe line with a real certification behind it.
