D2C Bazaar is a brand discovery and directory platform. We connect shoppers with Indian D2C brands. We do not sell products, process payments for purchases, or act as a party to any transaction between users and brands.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using D2C Bazaar (d2cbazaar.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, brand owners, and anyone else who accesses the platform.
2. What D2C Bazaar Is
D2C Bazaar is a curated online directory that lists information about Indian direct-to-consumer brands. We are a discovery platform only. We do not:
- Sell, supply, or distribute any products listed on the platform
- Process, handle, or facilitate payment for any purchase between a user and a brand
- Act as an agent, distributor, reseller, or representative of any listed brand
- Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any brand or product information
- Endorse or warrant the quality, safety, legality, or fitness of any product listed
3. Disclaimer of Liability — Products & Transactions
D2C Bazaar is a directory. We are not responsible for any products, services, or transactions made through or because of brand listings on this platform.
Specifically, D2C Bazaar shall not be liable for:
- Defective, damaged, unsafe, or substandard products purchased from any listed brand
- Any harm, injury, illness, loss, or damage caused by products discovered through this platform
- Any fraudulent, misleading, or illegal conduct by any listed brand
- Non-delivery, wrong delivery, or any fulfilment issues by any brand
- Any disputes between users and brands regarding products, pricing, or service
- The accuracy of product descriptions, ingredients, claims, or certifications listed on brand pages
- Any financial loss arising from purchases made after discovering a brand on D2C Bazaar
All purchases are made directly with the brand through their own website or channels. D2C Bazaar has no involvement in, and accepts no responsibility for, any such transactions. Users transact with brands entirely at their own risk.
If you have a complaint about a product or brand, please contact that brand directly. D2C Bazaar does not mediate disputes between users and brands.
4. Brand Listings & Curation
D2C Bazaar curates its directory manually. However, inclusion in the directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or verification of any brand’s products, claims, or business practices.
Brand information on this platform may be submitted by brand owners or added by our team. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is current, complete, or correct. Brand details including descriptions, pricing, offer codes, and product information may change without notice.
D2C Bazaar reserves the right to add, remove, or modify any listing at its sole discretion, without notice, and without liability to any brand owner or user.
5. Brand Owner Accounts & Claims
Brand owners may claim their listing on D2C Bazaar. By claiming a listing, you represent that:
- You are an authorised representative of the brand
- All information you provide is accurate and not misleading
- You will not use the platform to make false, exaggerated, or unsubstantiated claims about your products
- You comply with all applicable Indian laws including the Consumer Protection Act 2019, Legal Metrology Act, and any sector-specific regulations
D2C Bazaar reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove any claim or listing if we believe it violates these terms or our curation standards.
6. Offer Codes & Promotions
Offer codes displayed on D2C Bazaar are provided by brand owners. D2C Bazaar does not guarantee that any offer code is valid, active, or applicable. All terms of any promotion are set solely by the brand. D2C Bazaar accepts no liability if an offer code does not work or is withdrawn.
7. Paid Subscriptions (Brand Owners)
Brand owners may subscribe to paid plans (Spotlight, Featured) for enhanced visibility. By subscribing:
- You authorise recurring charges at the selected billing frequency
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date
- Monthly plans may be cancelled anytime; annual plans run until the end of the billing period
- Refunds are not provided for partial periods unless required by applicable law
- D2C Bazaar reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
Paid plans provide visibility features (featured placement, editorial eligibility, social features). They do not guarantee any specific number of clicks, visits, or conversions.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on D2C Bazaar — including but not limited to text, design, code, logos, and layout — is the property of D2C Bazaar or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.
Brand owners retain ownership of content they submit (descriptions, images, logos) and grant D2C Bazaar a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the platform
- Impersonate any brand, person, or entity
- Use the platform to spam or solicit users
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, D2C Bazaar, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any products discovered through it.
D2C Bazaar’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to D2C Bazaar in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 — whichever is lower.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
12. Changes to Terms
D2C Bazaar may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be notified via email or a notice on the platform.
