Aarushi Singhal started this brand in 2017, at nineteen, with a simple bet against the direction the rest of the skincare industry was heading: instead of building formulations, she'd sell the raw ingredients themselves and let people build their own. Nearly a decade later, Blend It Raw still runs on that idea, positioning itself as a zero-waste store for pure herbal powders, carrier oils, and hydrosols rather than finished products.

The catalogue reads like an apothecary shelf rather than a beauty aisle: hibiscus and henna powders for hair, a rosemary hydrosol sold as a standalone toner-substitute, a hair care herbs mix, an aloe vera gel with nothing added to it, and a chamomile body scrub. Nothing here comes pre-formulated into a serum or a cream, the ingredients are the product, sourced, according to the brand, directly from small Indian farms.

Worth knowing: this only works if you're willing to do some of the formulating yourself, whether that's diluting a hydrosol, mixing a hair mask, or figuring out a ratio that suits your skin. It's a DIY proposition dressed up as skincare, not a drop-in replacement for a finished product.
