Bebe Burp was founded in 2018 by Shruti Tibrewal, her husband Bharat Tibrewal, and Chirag Gupta in Surat. The starting point was entirely personal. When Shruti had a baby, she went looking for clean baby food and found most shelf products loaded with artificial flavours, preservatives, and ingredients with little nutritional value. She started making food from traditional recipes her grandmother had taught her, using organic Indian superfoods. Bebe Burp grew from that kitchen.

The positioning is clear: Indian grandma recipes, natural ingredients, no preservatives, formulated for the Indian palate. Western baby food brands that dominate the market don't account for Indian cultural and dietary requirements. Bebe Burp's entire product logic sits on that observation. The range covers porridge mixes, cereal mixes, and instant food options for infants and toddlers, built around convenience without compromising on ingredients.

The brand raised ₹8 crore in a Pre-Series A round from Gruhas Collective Consumer Fund and has since expanded exports to Nepal. They appeared on Shark Tank India, didn't close a deal, and came back more focused. Their own account of the experience is candid: they learnt about having a clear brand story, managing costs, and being opportunistic. That kind of self-awareness at an early stage counts for something.

The honest context: Bebe Burp operates in a crowded clean-label baby food space alongside others. Differentiation at the product level is real but scale and retail visibility are still modest. Worth watching as the brand's expansion ambitions develop.
