Alankaram designs its furniture and builds it in its own workshop in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. Per the brand, everything is made in-house, from design through finish. It began as a Delhi interior design studio and grew into a furniture maker, and the people who run it are the people who shaped it: Anupriya Sahu, an architect, leads design, and Dhwanit Parmar runs the business side.

The range is solid wood, mainly teak alongside ash, oak and beech. The pieces featured here are the Otutu ten-seater dining table, the Aavaha sofa and dining chair, the Aizvara executive desk, the Aasana temple stand and the Aarav pouffe. Many designs come in more than one wood and finish, so check the material on each product page. The brand ships across India and has showrooms in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pithampur if you would rather see a piece first.

Worth knowing: these are high-value pieces. The six featured here run from ₹24,800 for the pouffe to ₹3,85,000 for the ten-seater teak table, so this is a considered purchase. Check delivery timelines and installation terms with the brand before ordering large items.

Best for: people furnishing a home who want solid wood furniture made in India and are comfortable with premium pricing.
