What started as Soapworks India in 2017, a one-room soap operation in Gurugram, became Earth Rhythm two years later once Harini's father joined to help sort the manufacturing license and the brand found its first real product: zero-waste shampoo bars.

Those bars are still the signature item, and they set the template for everything that followed. Earth Rhythm is India's first homegrown brand to run independent clinical trials on its own formulations, which puts it in different company from the natural-beauty brands that rely on tradition and good packaging instead of data. The range has grown to 160-plus products across skin, hair, and body, all ECOCERT certified and PETA-certified cruelty-free.

Worth knowing before you treat this as a hidden find: Earth Rhythm has scaled to a roughly ₹200 crore business with backing from Nykaa and Anicut Capital, and it's sold across 70 offline kiosks as well as the usual marketplaces, so plenty of people already know the name. And if a shampoo bar is new to you, it's a different routine, not a swap-in for a bottle, and it takes a wash or two before it feels normal.
