Farmley started in 2017 as a B2B bulk trader and spent four years doing the unglamorous work: building five processing units near farming zones, establishing direct relationships with over 5,000 farmers across Maharashtra, Bihar, Karnataka & Rajasthan, and figuring out post-harvest quality at source. The consumer brand came later, in 2021, by which point they had infrastructure that most snacking brands don't even know they need.

The products are the direct result of that backend. The flagship Date Bites are genuinely good, chewy, not cloying, no weird ingredients. The roasted makhana range (especially the peri-peri and classic salted) is strong. The trail mixes are more considered than competitors at the price point. At ₹150–₹500 for most formats, the value-to-quality ratio is hard to beat.

The honest caveat: Farmley is a high-volume brand now, not an artisan one. Their ₹370 crore revenue in FY25 and $57 million in institutional funding means they're optimising for scale. For the most part that's fine, consistency is high. Occasionally a batch of nuts arrives less fresh than expected; buy from their website or trusted platforms for the best results.
