Kiriti Acharjee, Sourav Chakraborty, and Satyajit Chakraborty founded HealthFab in 2019 after observing, through their own families, how poorly the Indian market served menstruating women. The dominant options, disposable pads, tampons, generated significant waste, caused discomfort, and still leaked. The reusable period underwear market barely existed in India. They spent six months testing designs with real users before launching GoPadFree, India's first leak-proof reusable period panty, in 2020.

The product earned India's only dual BIS certification for 50-wash durability and anti-bacterial performance. It became the #1 product in its category on Amazon India. HealthFab also sells disposable period underwear and GoPainFree, an ayurvedic period pain relief cream. Revenue has grown 3x year-on-year, the brand appeared on Shark Tank India Season 4, and in May 2026 raised ₹20 crore in a Series A from Atomic Capital. The brand is now targeting 50 lakh women over the next three years from 5 lakh currently.

The honest note: HealthFab remains a focused, early-stage brand. Product range is intentionally narrow, and scale outside metro and online channels is still building.
